DTC P0013: Camshaft Position "B" Actuator Circuit / Open (Bank 1): Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (OPERATE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Turn the A/C switch to ON.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the VVT Exhaust Linear (Bank 1).
- Check the engine speed while operating the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust camshaft) using the Techstream.
Result
Techstream Operation Specified Condition 0% Normal engine speed 100% Engine idles roughly or stalls HINT:
- If the result is not acceptable, cool the engine (engine coolant temperature is 50°C (122°F) or less) and perform the Active Test again.
- Refer to "Data List / Active Test" [VVT Ex OCV Duty #1 and VVT Ex Chg Angle #1]. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST .
