DTC P0617: Starter Relay Circuit High: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (STARTER SIGNAL)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Starter Signal.
- Read the value displayed on the Techstream when the vehicle is driven at 12 mph (20 km/h) or more.WARNING:
When performing the confirmation driving pattern, obey all speed limits and traffic laws.

- INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Inspect the park/neutral position switch assembly. Refer to INSPECTION .

- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (STA SIGNAL CIRCUIT)
- Repair or replace harness or connector (park/neutral position switch assembly - ST relay - ECM).

- Repair or replace harness or connector (clutch pedal switch - ST relay - ECM)

- CHECK WHETHER DTC OUTPUT RECURS (DTC P0617)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Drive the vehicle in accordance with the driving pattern described in the Confirmation Driving Pattern.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
