Speed Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 11
  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 14
  5. REMOVE BATTERY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 15
  6. REMOVE BATTERY CARRIER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 16
  7. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the transmission wire connector, park/ neutral position switch connector and 2 wire harness clamps.
    3. Remove the bolt and transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.
    4. Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.
  8. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NT 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and sensor.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the sensor.
  9. REMOVE SPEED SENSOR NC 
    1. Disconnect the sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and sensor.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the sensor.
