Combination Meter ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN NO. 1 BUS WIRE (COMBINATION METER MAIN BUS WIRE)
- Turn the ignition switch off.

(to Combination Meter) - Disconnect the combination meter connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition E55-27 (CANH) - E55-28 (CANL) Ignition switch off 108 to 132 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BUS MAIN WIRE OR CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER MAIN BUS WIRE)
OK: Go to next step
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the combination meter connector.

Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E55-30 (ET) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E55-33 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V E55-32 (B) - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → See step 3
- Disconnect the combination meter connector.
- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL
