Charge Inlet: Installation: Installation

INSTALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER WIRE
WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
1. Install the wire harness with the nut.
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
2. Connect the connector.
3. Connect the 3 clamps.
4. Connect the 2 clamps.
5. Connect the 2 clamps.
6. Connect the 2 connectors and slide the 2 green-colored locks in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to lock them securely.

  NOTE:
  Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.
7. Connect the clamp.
8. Connect the 2 connectors.
INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY SHIELD PANEL See step 10
INSTALL BATTERY CHARGER CONNECTOR OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Install the battery charger connector opening lid sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.
  Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
2. Connect the 2 connectors.
INSTALL ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER CABLE
WARNING:
Wear insulated gloves.
1. Install the electric vehicle charger cable with 4 new bolts.
  Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Do not reuse the 4 electric vehicle charger cable bolts.
  - Do not drop the electric vehicle charger cable.
  - Do not reuse the electric vehicle charger cable if it has been dropped.
2. Connect the clamp.
3. Connect the connector and slide the green-colored lock in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to lock it securely.

  NOTE:
  Make sure that the connector is connected securely.
4. Connect the clamp and 2 connectors.
5. Install the wire harness with the bolt.
  Torque: 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
6. Connect the clamp and connector.
7. Connect the hose.
  NOTE:
  Make sure that the hose is connected securely.
