Steering Angle Sensor: Installation: Installation
- INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE WITH STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
- Install the spiral cable with steering angle sensor. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
.NOTE:
- Do not replace the spiral cable with steering angle sensor with the battery connected and the power switch on (IG).
- Do not rotate the spiral cable with steering angle sensor with the battery connected and the power switch on (IG).
- Ensure that the steering wheel is installed and aligned straight when inspecting the steering angle sensor.
- Do not remove the steering angle sensor from the spiral cable.
- Install the spiral cable with steering angle sensor. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
.
- INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 14
- INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 15
- ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 5
- INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 8
- INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
- INSTALL STEERING PAD
