Combination Meter ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure

CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRES (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)

Disconnect the combination meter assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
L27-10 (CANH) - L27-11 (CANL)	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	54 to 69 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN BUS BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND TERMINAL)

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
L27-30 (ES) - Body ground	Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT)

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL)

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
L27-19 (IG+) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
L27-18 (B) - Body ground	Power switch off	11 to 14 V
