Navigation ECU Communication Stop Mode: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRES (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the navigation ECU sub-assembly (navigation receiver assembly) connector.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

(to Navigation ECU Sub-assembly (Navigation Receiver Assembly)) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition L145-9 (CANH) - L145-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN BUS BRANCH WIRE OR CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH WIRE)
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND TERMINAL)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L156-7 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω
B → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (GROUND TERMINAL)

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE TERMINAL)
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
