INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 (E) - 4 (B)	Headlight cleaner switch on	Below 1 Ω
1 (E) - 4 (B)	Headlight cleaner switch off	10 kΩ or higher

Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 3 (ILL+) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (ILL-).

Check that the headlight cleaner switch assembly illumination comes on.

The headlight cleaner switch assembly illumination comes on.

If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner switch assembly.
