Terminals Of Ecu

  1. REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the V15 connector from the rear television camera assembly.
    2. Measure the voltage of each terminal of the wire harness side connector.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      V15-3 (CGND) - Body ground Shield - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 V
      V15-4 (CB+) - V15-3 (CGND) W - Shield Power source Power switch on (READY)
      Reverse (R) selected*1
      5.5 to 7.05 V
      Within 60 seconds of turning the power switch on (ACC)*2 5.5 to 7.05 V
      • *1: for Navigation Receiver Type
      • *2: for Radio and Display Type

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the V15 connector to the rear television camera assembly.
    4. Check for pulses between each terminal of the connector.

      Reverse (R) selected
      Camera lens not covered, displaying an image

      Camera lens covered, blacking out screen
      Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the rear television camera assembly may have a malfunction.

      1. Waveform 1 (camera lens is not covered, displaying an image)
        Item Content
        Terminal No. (Symbol) V15-2 (CV+) - V15-1 (CV-)
        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μs/DIV.
        Condition Power switch on (READY), reverse (R) selected

        HINT: 

        The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.

      2. Waveform 2 (camera lens is covered, blacking out the screen)

        Terminal No. (Symbol) V15-2 (CV+) - V15-1 (CV-)
        Tool Setting 200 mV/DIV., 50 μs/DIV.
        Condition Power switch on (READY), reverse (R) selected

        HINT: 

        The video waveform changes according to the image sent by the rear television camera assembly.
