Rear Speed Sensor: Installation: Installation

HINT:
- If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the sensor malfunctions, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
- INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY
- Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1

HINT:

- INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARING LOOSENESS . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 11
- INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB RUNOUT . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 12
- INSTALL REAR DISC . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 1
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 14
- CONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 10
- CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
- Connect the skid control sensor wire connector to the rear speed sensor.
- CONNECT CABLE TO AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 2 .
- Connect the reservoir level switch connector.
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- ADJUST PARKING BRAKE

- INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 41
- INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 42
- INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)
- CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
