  1. POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the H2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      H2-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      H2-6 (B) - H2-1 (E) L - W-B Power source Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the H2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      H2-8 (U) - H2-1 (E) P - W-B Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), driver side power window switch off → up (Manual operation) 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      H2-4 (A) - H2-1 (E) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP output Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully open → driver side power window switch up (Auto operation) → driver side power window fully closed 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      Power window motor AUTO DOWN output Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully closed → driver side power window switch down (Auto operation) → driver side power window fully open 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      H2-5 (D) - H2-1 (E) W - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), driver side power window switch off → down (Manual operation) 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      H2-16 (U) - H2-1 (E) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), front passenger side power window switch off → up (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      H2-15 (D) - H2-1 (E) BR - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), front passenger side power window switch off → down (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      H2-12 (U) - H2-1 (E) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), rear power window LH off → up (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      H2-13 (D) - H2-1 (E) L - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), rear power window LH off → down (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      H2-10 (U) - H2-1 (E) G - W-B Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), rear power window RH off → up (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      H2-18 (D) - H2-1 (E) BR - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), rear power window RH off → down (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
  2. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the G3 front power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G3-3 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the G3 front power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G3-4 (U) - Body ground Y - Body ground Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), front passenger side power window switch off → up (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      G3-1 (D) - Body ground B - Body ground Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), front passenger side power window switch off → down (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
  3. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the J1 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J1-3 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the J1 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J1-4 (U) - Body ground R - Body ground Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), rear power window LH off → up (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      J1-1 (D) - Body ground G - Body ground Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), rear power window LH off → down (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
  4. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

    1. Disconnect the I1 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      I1-3 (B) - Body ground L - Body ground Power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the I1 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      I1-4 (U) - Body ground R - Body ground Power window motor UP output Power switch on (IG), rear power window RH off → up (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
      I1-1 (D) - Body ground G - Body ground Power window motor DOWN output Power switch on (IG), rear power window RH off → down (Manual operation) Below 1 V → 11 to 14 V
  5. CHECK FRONT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Disconnect the H4 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      H4-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      H4-2 (B) - Body ground GR - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the H4 front power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.
    4. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.

      H4-4 (AUTO) - H4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      H4-4 (AUTO) - H4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window moving, power window regulator master switch assembly fully pulled up (Automatic operation) Below 1 V
      H4-4 (AUTO) - H4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO UP input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      H4-4 (AUTO) - H4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      H4-4 (AUTO) - H4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window moving, power window regulator master switch assembly fully pushed down (Automatic operation) Below 1 V
      H4-4 (AUTO) - H4-1 (GND) LG - W-B Power window motor AUTO DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      H4-5 (LED) - H4-1 (GND) SB - W-B LED illumination signal Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      H4-5 (LED) - H4-1 (GND) SB - W-B LED illumination signal Approximately 45 seconds after power switch turned off Below 1 V
      H4-7 (DOWN) - H4-1 (GND) W - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window regulator master switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      H4-7 (DOWN) - H4-1 (GND) W - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window regulator master switch pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      H4-7 (DOWN) - H4-1 (GND) W - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      H4-7 (DOWN) - H4-1 (GND) W - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Power switch on (IG), driver side power window regulator master switch fully pushed down (Automatic position) Below 1 V

      H4-9 (LIN) - Body ground V - Body ground LIN communication signal Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation
  6. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the E16, IE, IF, IG and IM main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) connectors.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IE-17 (GND1) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      IG-1 (BECU) - Body ground R - Body ground Power source Always 11 to 14 V
      E16-4 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      IF-5 (ACC) - Body ground W - Body ground Power source (ACC) Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      IF-5 (ACC) - Body ground W - Body ground Power source (ACC) Power switch off Below 1 V
      IG-1 (ALTB) - Body ground B - Body ground Power source Always 11 to 14 V
      IM-9 (IG) - Body ground W - Body ground Power source (IG) Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      IM-9 (IG) - Body ground W - Body ground Power source (ACC) Power switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the E16, IE, IF, IG and IM main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage and waveform according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      IA-21 (DCTY) - Body ground W - Body ground Front door courtesy switch LH input Front door LH open Below 1 V
      IA-21 (DCTY) - Body ground W - Body ground Front door courtesy switch LH input Front door LH closed 11 to 14 V
