Ignition Coil And Spark Plug: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL SPARK PLUG 
    1. Using a 16 mm spark plug wrench, install the 6 spark plugs.

      Torque: 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.
    3. Connect the 3 wire harness clamps.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 SURGE TANK STAY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 19
  4. INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION

  5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
  6. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK  . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 1
