Terminals Of Ecu

  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU

    1. Remove the main body ECU.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      2I-32 (IG) - Body ground - Ignition power supply (IG signal) Engine switch on (IG)→ off 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      2I-29 (ACC) - Body ground - Ignition power supply (ACC signal) Engine switch on (ACC) → off 11 to 14 V → Below 1 V
      2I-31 (ALTB) - Body ground - +B (power system alternator system) power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      2I-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reinstall the main body ECU.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Passenger side door OPEN (ON) Below 1 V
      D13-6 (RCTY) - Body ground L - Body ground Rear courtesy light switch RH input Rear door RH CLOSED (OFF) Pulse generation
      Rear door RH OPEN (ON) Below 1 V
      D12-3 (LCTY) - Body ground GR - Body ground Rear courtesy light switch LH input Rear door LH CLOSED (OFF) Pulse generation
      Rear door LH OPEN (ON) Below 1 V
      D13-19 (BCTY) - Body ground GR - Body ground Back door courtesy light switch input Back door CLOSED (OFF) Pulse generation
      Back door OPEN (ON) Below 1 V
      D13-3 (HAZ) - Body ground B - Body ground Turn signal flasher relay signal Any transmitter switch is pressed Below 1 V
      Any transmitter switch is not pressed 11 to 14 V
      2A-40 (HORN) - Body ground G - Body ground Vehicle horn signal Vehicle horn is sounding (Panic alarm system is in alarm sounding state) Below 1 V → 12 V
      2F-25 (BZR) - Body ground G - Body ground Wireless door lock buzzer signal Wireless door lock buzzer OFF Below 1 V
      Wireless door lock buzzer ON Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU or instrument panel junction block assembly may have a malfunction.

  2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      D88-15 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      D88-1 (+B) - D88-15 (E) G - W-B Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      D88-16 (IG) - D88-15 (E) B - W-B IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V
      • If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
    3. Reconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      D87-16 (RSSI) - D88-15 (E) R - W-B Door control receiver output signal Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch not pressed 11 to 14 V
      Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch pressed Below 2 V
      D87-15 (RDA) - D88-15 (E) Y - W-B Door control receiver date input signal Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch not pressed 11 to 14 V pulse generation at regular intervals
      Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch pressed Pulse generation
      D87-5 (RCO) - D88-15 (E) V - W-B Supply battery to door control receiver Engine switch off, all doors closed and transmitter switch pressed 4.5 to 5.5 V
      • If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
