Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 18
  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE  See step  5
  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 21
  7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.

    2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket.
