Wireless Transmitter Memory Function does not Operate [10/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Check the manual lock/unlock function by using the door control switch (power window regulator master switch assembly). Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Manual lock/unlock function operates normally.

OK: Go to next step 

1. Check that the engine starts normally when the engine switch is pressed with carrying the key and the brake pedal depressed.

   OK

   Engine starts normally.

OK: Go to next step 

1. Store a seat position in memory. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2013 - ] .
2. Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.5 seconds to indicate that a position has been stored.
   NOTE:

   • The seat position will not be recorded if the SET switch and 2 of the seat memory switches are pressed simultaneously.
   • If a memorizing operation has failed, release all switches. The seat memory function does not operate unless the switches are released.

   OK

   Seat position memory function operates normally.

OK: Go to next step 

1. Restore a memorized seat position. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2013 - ] .
2. Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.1 seconds and the seat automatically moves to the memorized position.
   NOTE:

   • The seat will not return to the memorized position if 2 of the seat memory switches are pressed simultaneously.
   • If a restoring operation has failed, release all switches. The seat memory restoring function does not operate unless the switches are released.

   OK

   Seat position restoring function operates normally.

1. Connect the Techstream tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream tester on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream tester.

2. Check that the buzzer sounds for 0.5 seconds to indicate the completion of memory call registration. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Buzzer sounds normally.

1. Connect the Techstream tester to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream tester on.

3. Unlock the driver door by pressing the unlock switch of the memory call registered key or touching the driver door outside handle while holding the memory call registered key.
4. Open the driver door and check that the driver seat moves to the memorized position. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2013 - ] .
