DTC B1787: Rear Occupant Classification Sensor LH Collision Detection [10/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, perform Zero Point Calibration and Sensitivity Check. Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2013 - ] .

   OK

   "Zero Point Calibration is complete." and "Sensitivity Check is complete." are displayed.

NG → See step   3 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs stored in the occupant detection ECU. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2013 - ] .
2. Clear the DTCs stored in the airbag ECU assembly. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2013 - ] .
3. Turn the engine switch off.
4. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
5. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2013 - ] .

   OK

   DTC B1787 is not output.

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTC B1787 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

6. Turn the engine switch off.

NG → See step   3 

OK → END 

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Replace the front seat frame with adjuster assembly RH. Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] .
3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
