DTC B1532: LVDS Signal Malfunction (from Extension Module) [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the k2 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   k2-8 (GND2) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   k2-4 (+B2) - k2-8 (GND2)	Always	11 to 14 V
   k2-3 (ACC2) - k2-8 (GND2)	Ignition switch ACC	11 to 14 V

Result: 

NG

1. Replace the harness and connector (LVDS communication line).
2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - 08/2016] or DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

OK

1. Replace the stereo component tuner assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - 08/2015] or REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2016] or REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - 08/2016] or DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2013 - 08/2016]  or  REMOVAL [08/2016 - ] 

1. Disconnect the k3 navigation receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the k2 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   k3-4 (+B2) - k2-4 (+B2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   k3-3 (ACC2) - k2-3 (ACC2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   k3-8 (GND2) - k2-8 (GND2)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   k3-4 (+B2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   k3-3 (ACC2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   k3-8 (GND2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
