  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS

  3. DTCS AND FREEZE FRAME DATA CHECK AND CLEARANCE* 

    NEXT: Go to next step 

  4. PROBLEM SYMPTOM CONFIRMATION 
    RESULT

    Symptom does not occur A
    Symptom occurs B

    B → SYMPTOM SIMULATION 

    A: Go to next step 

  5. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Check for the output DTCs relating to the CAN communication system.

      HINT: 

      The ECU of this system is connected to the CAN communication system. Therefore, before starting troubleshooting, be sure to check that there is no trouble in the CAN communication system.

      RESULT

      CAN communication system DTC not output A
      CAN communication system DTC output B

      B → CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

  6. DTC CHECK* 

    HINT: 

    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .

  7. DTC CHART 

    HINT:

  8. CIRCUIT INSPECTION 

    HINT: 

    When 2 or more DTCs are detected, perform circuit inspections one by one until the problem is identified.
