Removal [10/2013 - ]

  1. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ]

  2. REMOVE EGR PIPE ASSEMBLY  . Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] - Step 9
  3. REMOVE MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR  . Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] - Step 5
  4. REMOVE PURGE VSV  . Refer to REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] - Step 5
  5. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD 
    1. Disconnect the 3 connectors and 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the engine oil level dipstick.
    3. Disconnect the wire harness clamp, and then remove the 2 bolts and engine oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the engine oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.
    5. Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose and ventilation hose.

    6. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and intake manifold.

    7. Remove the No. 1 intake manifold to head gasket.
    8. w/ Stud Bolt:
      1. Using an E6 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts from the intake manifold.

        HINT: 

        If a stud bolt is deformed or the threads are damaged, replace the stud bolt.
