Indicator Circuit [10/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GAUGE FUSE - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the L27 combination meter assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L27-19 (IG+) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the A96 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A96-6 (WNG) - L27-6 (LVWG) Always Below 1 Ω
      A96-6 (WNG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. INSPECT NO. 3 METER CIRCUIT PLATE 
    1. Reconnect the L27 combination meter assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      L27-6 (LVWG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component with harness connected
      (Combination Meter Assembly)

    NG → See step   4 

    OK → See step   5 

  4. REPLACE NO. 3 METER CIRCUIT PLATE. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2013 - ] 
  5. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2013 - ]
