How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [09/2013 - ]

HINT: 

• Use these procedures to troubleshoot the smart key system (for Entry Function).

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

   NEXT: Go to next step 

2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
   1. Measure the vehicle auxiliary battery voltage.

      Standard voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the vehicle auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

      NEXT: Go to next step 

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [09/2013 - ] .

      CAN DTC is output	B

4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
   1. Use the Techstream to check if the LIN communication system is functioning normally. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2013 - ] .
