Front Passenger Side Door Entry Lock Function does not Operate [09/2013 - ]: Description

When the lock switch built into the front door outside handle assembly RH in turned on, a lock switch on signal is transmitted to the certification ECU (ECU aggregation box assembly), and a request signal is then transmitted to both the indoor electrical key oscillator RH and door electrical key oscillator RH by the certification ECU (ECU aggregation box assembly). Upon receipt of the request signal, the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly transmits an ID code to the certification ECU (ECU aggregation box assembly). When the certification ECU (ECU aggregation box assembly) recognizes that the key is not in the cabin and is outside the vehicle, a door lock signal is transmitted to the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block assembly), causing all the doors to be locked.
