Room Oscillator does not Recognize Key [09/2013 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK ELECTRICAL KEY TRANSMITTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)
- Temporarily replace the electrical key transmitter sub-assembly with a new or normally functioning one. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ] .
- Check that the wireless door lock functions operate normally.

OK → END (ELECTRICAL KEY TRANSMITTER SUB-ASSEMBLY WAS DEFECTIVE)
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Active Test.
- According to the display on the Techstream, perform the Active Test.SMART KEY
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Fr-Seat Inside Transmitter Indoor electrical key oscillator (front) ON or OFF - Inside Trunk/Backdoor Transmitter Indoor electrical key oscillator (rear) ON or OFF - OK
When key is brought close to indoor electrical key oscillator, oscillator is turned OFF and indicator on key illuminates.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR - CERTIFICATION ECU [ECU AGGREGATION BOX ASSEMBLY])
- Disconnect the L25*1 and K25*2 indoor electrical key oscillator connectors.
- *1: for Front
- *2: for Rear
- Disconnect the E84 certification ECU (ECU aggregation box assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect the L25*1 and K25*2 indoor electrical key oscillator connectors.
- CHECK INDOOR ELECTRICAL KEY OSCILLATOR (OPERATION)
- Carry the key into the vehicle.
- Temporarily replace the indoor electrical key oscillator with a new or normally functioning one.
- for Front: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
- for Rear: Refer to REMOVAL [09/2013 - ]
- Depress the brake pedal and check that the power switch indicator illuminates in green.
