Auto Up Operation does not Fully Close Power Window (Jam Protection Function is Activated) [09/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Initialize the front power window regulator motor assembly LH. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Check that the driver side power window moves when the auto up and down functions of the power window regulator master switch assembly are operated. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Auto up and down function is normal.

NG → See step   3 

OK → END (PROBLEM DUE TO INITIALIZATION FAILURE) 

1. Remove the window regulator.
2. Install the window glass onto the door glass run.
3. Check if the door window regulator operates smoothly.
4. Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it up by hand.

   OK

   Door window glass slides smoothly.

   HINT: 

   Ensure the following:

   • The window glass fits with the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
   • Foreign objects are not caught in the glass run.
   WARNING:

   Perform initialization again.

NG → FIT WINDOW GLASS CORRECTLY (REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECTS CAUSING IMPROPER FIT OR REPLACE PARTS)
