Fail-Safe Chart [10/2015 - ]

  1. FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION 
    1. When a malfunction occurs in the lane departure alert system (w/ steering control), a message will be displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and the LKA/LDA system will be disabled depending on the malfunction.
      Warning Message Cause Fail-safe Operation Conditions to Return to Normal Condition
      Lane Departure Alert Function Lane Departure Control Function Vehicle Sway Warning
      Lane Departure Alert Malfunction Visit Your Dealer Lane departure alert system (w/ Steering Control) is malfunctioning X X X After system returns to normal, engine switch is turned off and then on (IG)
      Forward Camera System Unavailable
      • Abnormal forward recognition camera voltage
      • Forward recognition camera temperature outside of operational range
      • Other forward recognition camera malfunction
