Auto Down Operation does not Fully Open Power Window (Catch Protection Function is Activated) [09/2014 - ]: Procedure
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
- Initialize the power window regulator motor assembly (applicable location). Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - ] .
NEXT: Go to next step
- CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (AUTO UP / DOWN FUNCTION (APPLICABLE LOCATION))
- Check that each front power window moves when the auto up and down function of the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly are operated. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2014 - ]

Auto up and down functions are normal (applicable location).
NG → See step 3
OK → END (PROBLEM DUE TO INITIALIZATION FAILURE)
- Check that each front power window moves when the auto up and down function of the power window regulator master switch assembly or power window regulator switch assembly are operated. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2014 - ]

- CHECK WINDOW GLASS SLIDING MOVEMENT (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
- Remove the power window regulator motor assembly and door window regulator sub-assembly.
- Install the window glass to the door glass run.
- Check if the power window regulator motor assembly and door window regulator sub-assembly operate smoothly.
- Check that the window glass slides smoothly when sliding it down by hand.NOTE:
Make sure to perform initialization. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - ] .
HINT:
Ensure the following:
- The window glass fits in the glass run without improper contact or deformation.
- Foreign matter is not caught in the glass run.
- The glass run is not misaligned.
- The belt moulding or inner weatherstrip is not caught.
- The glass is not tilted and does not catch.

Door window glass slides smoothly.
NG → FIT WINDOW GLASS CORRECTLY (REMOVE FOREIGN MATTER CAUSING IMPROPER FIT OR REPLACE)

- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER DOOR OR FRONT PASSENGER DOOR). Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]
