- INSPECT PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 5 (MSW1) - 2 (MSW2) Pressed Below 1 Ω Not pressed 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.

(Pattern Select Switch Assembly) - Apply battery voltage between the terminals of the switch and check the illumination condition of the pattern select switch assembly.

Measurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 4 (MSW+)
Battery negative (-) → 3 (MSW-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the pattern select switch assembly.
