Installation [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
- Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)
- Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET
- Install the ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
Torque: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)
- Install the ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL ECM
- Install the ECM with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
NOTE:If the ECM has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Engage the wire harness clamp.
- Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.NOTE:
- When connecting the ECM connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the ECM connectors.
- Be sure to securely connect the ECM connectors.
- Install the ECM with the 3 bolts.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY
- Engage the clamp to set the air cleaner assembly.
- Install the air cleaner assembly to the inlet air cleaner assembly.
- Install the air cleaner assembly to the No. 1 air cleaner hose and tighten the hose clamp.
- Install the 2 bolts to the air cleaner assembly.
Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
- Connect the air hose to the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.
- Connect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and engage the wire harness clamp.
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
