Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Extension Module [12/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the b6 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the b7 stereo component tuner assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      b7-1 (USV4) - b6-1 (USV4) Always Below 1 Ω
      b7-2 (US4-) - b6-2 (US4-) Always Below 1 Ω
      b7-3 (US4+) - b6-3 (US4+) Always Below 1 Ω
      b7-4 (UGD4) - b6-4 (UGD4) Always Below 1 Ω
      b7-5 (USG4) - b6-5 (USG4) Always Below 1 Ω
      b7-1 (USV4) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      b7-2 (US4-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      b7-3 (US4+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      b7-4 (UGD4) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      b7-5 (USG4) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      (to Stereo Component Tuner Assembly)

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [12/2014 - ] 
  3. REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2014 - ]
