Confirmation Driving Pattern

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
  4. Turn the power switch off.
  5. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Plug-in Control / Data List.
  7. Check that "State of Charge (All Bat)" shows 70% or less.
  8. Turn the power switch off.
  9. Connect the charging cable, fully charge the vehicle, and then disconnect the charging cable.

    HINT: 

    The maximum time required to fully charge the vehicle is about 3 hours and 30 minutes when using AC 100 V or about 2 hours when using AC 200 V.

  10. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  11. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Plug-in Control / Trouble Codes.
  12. Check that the permanent DTCs are cleared.
  13. If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform a universal trip, and then check for permanent DTCs again.

    HINT: 

    • If a permanent DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning.
    • If no permanent DTC is output, the system is normal.
