- PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

- The type of ignition switch used on this model differs depending on the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.

NOTE:- Check that the battery cables are connected to the correct terminals.
- Disconnect the battery cables when the battery is given a quick charge.
- Do not perform tests with a high voltage insulation resistance tester.
- Never disconnect the battery cables while the engine is running.
- Check that the charging cable nuts are tightened on terminal B of the generator and on the engine room relay block and junction block assembly.
