  1. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the I6 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the I6 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the H8 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the H8 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR LH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the K5 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      K5-2 (B) - Body ground LA-G - Body ground Power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the K5 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

  4. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the J5 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the J5 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the I4 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the I4 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR FRONT PASSENGER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the H5 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      H5-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

    3. Reconnect the H5 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.

  7. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) AND INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016] or REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

    2. Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-31 (BECU) - Body ground - Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [02/2014 - 11/2016] or INSTALLATION [11/2016 - ]

    5. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value (s) in the table below.
