1. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] ).

REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS

1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Disconnect the E105 VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) connector.
3. Disconnect the E107 steering sensor connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   E105-5 (SS1-) - E107-9 (SS2-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E105-6 (SS1+) - E107-8 (SS2+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   E105-5 (SS1-) or E107-9 (SS2-) - Body ground	Always	100 kΩ or higher
   E105-6 (SS1+) or E107-8 (SS2+) - Body ground	Always	100 kΩ or higher
   E105-5 (SS1-) - E105-6 (SS1+)	Always	1000 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Reconnect the E105 VGRS ECU (steering control ECU) connector.

2. Reconnect the E107 steering sensor connector.
3. Start the engine.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   HINT: 

   With the connector connected to the VGRS ECU (steering control ECU), measure the voltage from the rear of the connector.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
