Installation [12/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure
- INSTALL ECM BRACKET
- Install the ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.
- INSTALL NO. 2 ECM BRACKET
- Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 3 screws.
- INSTALL ECM
- Install the ECM with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
- Pull down the lever to engage the lock and connect the 2 connectors to the ECM.NOTE:
- Make sure that the 2 levers are securely locked.
- When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not become stuck between the connectors and other parts.
- Install the ECM with the 3 bolts.
- INSTALL AIR CLEANER AND HOSE

- INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER ASSEMBLY SEAL

- INSTALL FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
- INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
(Refer to INSTALLATION [12/2015 - ] )
- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
HINT:
Initialization cannot be completed by only disconnecting and reconnecting the cable of the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Perform Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) registration (Refer to REGISTRATION [12/2015 - 08/2016] ).
- Register the ECM communication ID for the immobiliser system when replacing the ECM (Refer to REGISTRATION [12/2015 - ] ).
- Perform Initialization when replacing the ECM (See step 12).
