NOTE:

The smart key system (for Entry Function) uses a multiplex communication system (LIN communication system) and the CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting (Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2021 - 08/2022] , or refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2022 - ] ). Troubleshoot the smart key system (for Entry Function) after confirming that the communication systems are functioning properly.
Check that there are no electrical key transmitters in the vehicle.
Before replacing the certification ECU, refer to the engine immobilizer system (w/ Smart Key System) (Refer to REGISTRATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to REGISTRATION [08/2019 - 08/2021] , or refer to REGISTRATION [08/2021 - 08/2022] , or refer to REGISTRATION [08/2022 - ] ).
