DTC P0A3B: Generator Over Temperature [06/2016 - ]: Procedure

CHECK GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Check for foreign material clogged in the generator assembly outlet.
  OK
  
  There is not clogging.
Result:

NG

REMOVE ANY CLOGGED FOREIGN MATERIAL AND LEAVE THE ALTERNATOR AS IT IS FOR APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES TO COOL IT DOWN.

Result:

OK

CHECK CHARGE WARNING LIGHT
1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Leave the alternator as it is for approximately 20 minutes.
3. Check that the charge warning light comes on.
  OK
  
  The charge warning light does not come on.
Result:

OK

REPLACE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to REMOVAL [06/2016 - ]

Result:

NG

CHECK FOR FOREIGN MATERIAL CLOGGED IN THE ALTERNATOR OUTLET OR SURROUNDING AREA. TEMPORARY ALTERNATOR OVERHEAT OCCURRED, BUT IT IS RETURNED TO NORMAL NOW.
