1. Using the Techstream, check for DTCs and confirm that there are no problems in the CAN communication system (Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [06/2016 - 03/2017] Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [03/2017 - ] ).

   DTC is not output.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Utility / Assist Map Confirmation / Clear.
5. Clear the assist map following the instructions on the Techstream screen.
6. Start the engine.

   HINT: 

   If no assist map is currently written, it will be written in the ECU when the engine is started while the vehicle is stationary.

7. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Utility / Assist Map Confirmation / Clear.
8. Check that "MAP2" is displayed on the Techstream screen.

   OK

   MAP2 is output.
