DTC B27A2: Open in Front Passenger Side Electrical Antenna Circuit [03/2017 - ]: Description
The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) generates a request signal and transmits the signal to the front door outside handle assembly RH (electrical key antenna) at intervals of 250 ms. For the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) to detect when the key is brought close to the vehicle, a signal requesting a response from the key is transmitted within approximately 1 m (3.28 ft.) of the front passenger side door at intervals of 250 ms. DTC B27A2 is stored by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) when an open circuit is detected between the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and front door outside handle assembly RH (electrical key antenna) (between terminals CLG2 and ANT1, or terminals CG2B and ANT2).
| DTC No. | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area | DTC Output Confirmation Operation |
|---|---|---|---|
| B27A2 | An open circuit is detected in the circuit between the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) and front door outside handle assembly RH (CLG2 - ANT1, CG2B - ANT2) (1 trip detection logic*1). |
|
Any time*2 |
- *1: Only output while a malfunction is present.
- *2: Only when the vehicle is stopped.
