DTC U0077: LIN Communication Bus "ECM/PCM" Off [06/2016 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2016 - ]

5. Turn the ignition switch off and wait at least 30 seconds.
6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / DTC.
7. Read the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2016 - ]

   RESULT:
   
   

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC U0077 is output	A
   No DTC is output	B

Result: 

B 

CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS. Refer to  CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS [06/2016 - ]

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Disconnect the battery State Sensor Assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A33-21(LIN) A78-2(LIN)	Always	Below 1 Ω

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Disconnect the battery State Sensor Assembly connector.
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A33-21(LIN) Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Disconnect the battery State Sensor Assembly connector.
4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A33-21(LIN) Body ground	Always	Below 1 V

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTCs.

5. Turn the ignition switch off and wait at least 30 seconds.
6. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / DTC.
7. Read the DTCs.
