Removal [06/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 1) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the VVT sensor.
  3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 1) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the VVT sensor.
  4. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Intake Side of Bank 2) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the VVT sensor.
  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Exhaust Side of Bank 2) 
    1. Disconnect the VVT sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and VVT sensor.
    3. Remove the O-ring from the VVT sensor.
