Navigation Receiver Assembly Communication Stop Mode [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the E20 navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.

(to Navigation ECU Sub-assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E20-9 (CANH) - E20-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY)

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the E17 Navigation ECU sub-assembly connector.

(to Navigation ECU Sub-assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E17-7 (GND1) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
