Skid Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [10/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC (BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      OK (DTC C1241 is not output) OK
      NG (DTC C1241 is output) NG

    NG 

    Refer to DTC C1241: Low Power Supply Voltage Malfunction [10/2014 - ] )

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY) BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the A30 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

      (to Skid Control ECU (Brake Actuator Assembly))
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A30-26 (CANH) - A30-14 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    OK 

    REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY))
