DTC B1787: Rear Occupant Classification Sensor LH Collision Detection [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Using the Techstream, perform Zero Point Calibration and Sensitivity Check (Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - ] ).

   OK

   "Zero Point Calibration is complete." and "Sensitivity Check is complete." are displayed.

1. Clear the DTCs stored in the occupant detection ECU (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Clear the DTCs stored in the airbag ECU assembly (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
3. Turn the engine switch off.
4. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
5. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).

   OK

   DTC B1787 is not output.

   HINT: 

   Codes other than DTC B1787 may be output at this time, but they are not related to this check.

6. Turn the engine switch off.

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Replace the front seat frame with adjuster assembly RH (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).
3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
