DTC C1AAD: Vehicle Information Initialization Incomplete [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

The forward recognition camera communicates with the ECM via CAN communication. Confirm that the CAN communication system is functioning normally before proceeding.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.
5. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   HINT: 

   • If "Unknown" is displayed, the ECM cannot send vehicle information or the forward recognition camera cannot store the vehicle information. Check for DTCs, replace the ECM if necessary and recheck for DTCs. If the DTC is output again, replace the forward recognition camera.
   • If "Unknown" is not displayed, the DTC is stored even though the vehicle information is stored in the forward recognition camera. Replace the forward recognition camera.

   If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.

   1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 2 seconds or more.
7. Check for DTCs.
