DTC U023A: Lost Communication with Front Camera Module [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

When the lane departure alert system outputs DTC U023A, the power steering system may also output DTC U023A. If DTC U023A is output, perform diagnosis for the power steering system first.

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / EMPS / Trouble Codes.
5. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

   Result

   DTC U023A is output	B

GO TO POWER STEERING SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2015 - ]

4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.
5. Clear the DTCs.

6. Perform the following procedure.

   HINT: 

   If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.

   1. Turn the engine switch on (IG) and wait 7 seconds or more.
7. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2015 - ]

2. Perform Forward Recognition Camera Learning.

   Refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2015 - ]

3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.
5. Clear the DTCs.

6. Perform the following procedure.

   HINT: 

   If the following procedure is not performed, the previously output DTC cannot be detected.
