DTC P0630: VIN not Programmed or Mismatch - ECM / PCM [08/2016 - ]: Procedure

- READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P0630)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes
NOTE:If P0630 is output, the VIN must be input to the ECM using the Techstream. However, all DTCs are cleared automatically by the Techstream when the VIN is input. If DTCs other than P0630 are output, troubleshoot them first.
