DTC P0102: Mass Air Flow Circuit Low; DTC P0103: Mass Air Flow Circuit High [08/2013 - 08/2016]: Procedure
- READ OUTPUT DTC (DTC P0102 OR P0103)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes

- CHECK TERMINAL VOLTAGE (POWER SOURCE OF MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.

(to Mass Air Flow Meter Sub-assembly) - Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-3 (+B) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY - EFI-MAIN RELAY)

- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY - ECM)
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-5 (VG) - B33-91 (VG) Always Below 1 Ω B2-4 (E2G) - B33-92 (E2G) Always Below 1 Ω B2-5 (VG) or B33-91 (VG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

- INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Inspect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly, referring to the On-vehicle Inspection for Mass Air Flow Meter.
Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [08/2013 - ]
- Inspect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly, referring to the Inspection for Mass Air Flow Meter.
Refer to INSPECTION [08/2013 - ]
- Inspect the function of the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Primary / MAF.
Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Data List
Tester Display MAF - Start the engine.
- Check that the MAF value changes when the engine is raced.
OK
The reading changes.
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2013 - 08/2016]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SENSOR GROUND)
- Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B2-4 (E2G) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
