Navigation Receiver Assembly Power Source Circuit [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the F114 and F116 navigation receiver assembly connectors.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F114-7 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F114-4 (+B1) - F114-7 (GND1) Always 11 to 14 V*1
      9.5 to 14 V*2
      F114-3 (ACC1) - F114-7 (GND1) Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V*1
      9.5 to 14 V*2
      F116-1 (IG) - F114-7 (GND1) Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V*1
      9.5 to 14 V*2

      *1: w/o Stop and Start System

      *2: w/ Stop and Start System

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      OK A
      NG (w/o Stop and Start System) B
      NG (w/ Stop and Start System) C

    Result:  1

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [11/2016 - ] 

    Result:  2

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result:  3

    GO TO STOP AND START SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2016 - ]
