Sound Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter [12/2013 - 11/2015]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the F116 navigation receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the F74 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Navigation Receiver Assembly)
      *b Front view of wire harness connector
      (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F116-25 (ADPG) - F74-10 (ADPG) Always Below 1 Ω
      F116-11 (AGND) - F74-12 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      F116-26 (VAR+) - F74-7 (VAR+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F116-28 (VAL+) - F74-8 (VAL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F116-27 (VA-) - F74-9 (VA-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F116-25 (ADPG) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F116-11 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F116-26 (VAR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F116-28 (VAL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F116-27 (VA-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    Result:  1

    OK
